Zoho Vault Review By Our Security Experts: It’s terrible enough that you need to recall passwords for your own web-based media, email, and different records. At that point, you go to work and have another entire arrangement of passwords you have to know.

Be that as it may, Zoho Vault has the two circumstances secured. This secret word the executives’ device lets you keep business and individual logins discrete, and incorporates business-accommodating client the board and joint effort highlights.

Introduction

What is Zoho Vault?

Zoho Vault is one of the many business applications from Zoho, which in particular provides users with a comprehensive suite of password management features that includes business-friendly user management and collaboration. The tool enables users to securely store, share, and manage their passwords from anywhere.

Zoho Vault also allows users to share passwords with team members. The platform also offers support for multiple vaults, called Chambers. Permissions can be given to certain team members so they can access certain vaults. This feature allows for quick and easy segregation of company-related accounts from users’ personal credentials. Admins can simply give team members access to the “Work” chamber to let them log in to company accounts.

Zoho Vault apparently has everything: moderate valuing plans, a true highlight rich free arrangement, a not insignificant rundown on Two-Factor Authentication choices, and some cool client the executives’ highlights.

Zoho Vault Review

Zoho Vault Review By Security Experts

Zoho Vault is a perfect choice for individuals who are searching for a secure password manager – and business users too., especially those who already use Zoho’s business suite.

For users looking for teams, families or anything on offer for various users, the Free plan definitely won’t be enough, and I suggest looking at the Standard or Premium plans, which have a lot of in-depth user management features and which offer great value for money.

Zoho Vault allows users to share their passwords securely among other members of the team. To separate passwords and access effectively, Zoho Vault enables users to create different vaults or chambers, and specify which vaults are accessible to fellow team members and which ones should remain private and confidential.

Zoho Vault does everything that you expect from a powerful password manager, and there’s even an impressive free version. However, it lacks form filling abilities and it can’t handle passwords for some key sites, such as Gmail.

Zoho Vault Features

Features Offered By Zoho Vault

Zoho Vault Features:

secured VAULT
Zoho provides a personal vault where you can securely store unlimited passwords, documents, notes, and other sensitive data. And there are no storage restrictions. With Zoho Vault, you can store an unlimited amount of things.

Store your personal and business passwords, documents, and sensitive information in a single vault secured with military-grade AES 256 encryption.

Passwords are the first line of defence for your online accounts, and in some cases, even your entire company. So Zoho Vault can generate passwords that are unique and random for all your online accounts and keep them secure. You can utilize their password generator tool to create strong passwords, avoiding reuse of passwords.
password sharing
Zoho Vault allows you to share multiple accounts with your family, friends, and coworkers, even across multiple teams with complete security. You can also grant and revoke password access for multiple users or user groups with one click.

With Zoho Vault, you can choose from several different permission levels to grant the right access level for each user. You can even disable plain-text view to restrict users from viewing the passwords to accounts you share with them.

auto-backup
The auto-backup feature comes as standard in both paid and free plans and is as simple to set up as navigating to the ‘Data Backup’ option under the Admin panel, toggling ‘Enable Backup’, and choosing a day or weekly backup. There’s also the option to exclude certain users from these auto-backups (maybe due to their security-related objections?). While the free plan allows you to backup your data…it’s the paid plan that allows you to backup and integrate your data to GSuite (Gmail) or Office365. All in all, Zoho Vault’s features are suitable if you’re looking to store your passwords in one place, securely, and also receive feedback on just how secure those passwords really are.

Zoho Vault Plans And Pricing

There is a variety of Zoho Vault pricing plan. The cost of the Standard Edition, which comes to $12 every year, is very sensible. LastPass used to go for a similar rate, yet that cost multiplied recently. Clingy Password costs just shy of $30, while Dashlane and Log Me Once Password Management Suite Ultimate both go for nearly $40 every year.

The Free plan is the best option here for individual users covering everything they would need – auto-fill, password saving and the password strength report. The Standard plan ends up being more suitable for team users (and families). In fact, all of the paid plans are much more suitable for business and multiple users. What’s strange about this is that several of the Free plan’s features – such as user management – definitely sent me mixed messages.

The Standard plan is super affordable and more importantly, integrates with GSuite (Gmail) and Office 365 (which is likely more valuable for a small business). I can see why it would be attractive to both individual users and teams, and if you’re really into integration for automation, the Standard plan would be best for you.

Zoho Vault seems to understand that the best way to get users interested is to give them a 15-day free trial of the Enterprise plan, for up to 5 users. After this, if no subscription is purchased, the free trial will downgrade to the Free plan. Whether 15 days is enough time to really experience all of the features of the Enterprise plan is really up to your team.

For users who decided to buy and then later want to downgrade or cancel their subscription, the cancellation will be instant and users will be billed only for the current month of their plan. Personally, it was easy for me to upgrade and downgrade.

Zoho Vault Security Protocol

Is Zoho Vault Safe To Use?

Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256. All customer data is encrypted in transit over public networks using Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2/1.3 with Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) to protect it from unauthorized disclosure or modification.

It provides an extra layer of security by demanding an additional verification that the user must possess, in addition to the password. This can greatly reduce the risk of unauthorized access if a user’s password is compromised. You can configure multi-factor authentication using Zoho One-Auth. Currently, different modes like biometric Touch ID or Face ID, Push Notification, QR code, and Time-based OTP are supported.

Zoho offers single sign-on (SSO) that lets users access multiple services using the same sign-in page and authentication credentials. When you sign in to any Zoho service, it happens only through our integrated Identity and Access Management (IAM) service. We also support SAML for single sign-on that makes it possible for customers to integrate their company’s identity provider like LDAP, ADFS when they login to Zoho services

Zoho Vault review

SSO simplifies the login process, ensures compliance, provides effective access control and reporting, and reduces the risk of password fatigue, and hence weak passwords.
